Ey göylərdə olan Atamız

Matta 6:9-13

Ey göylərdə olan Atamız! Adın müqəddəs tutulsun. Padşahlığın gəlsin. Göydə olduğu kimi, yerdə də Sənin iradən olsun. Gündəlik çörəyimizi bizə bu gün ver. Bizə borclu olanları bağışladığımız kimi, Sən də bizim borclarımızı bağışla. Və bizi sınağa çəkmə, lakin bizi şər olandan xilas et. Çünki padşahlıq, qüdrət və izzət əbədi olaraq Sənindir. Amin.

📖 About The Lord's Prayer

The Lord's Prayer (Latin Pater Noster) is the model prayer taught by Jesus Christ Himself to His disciples during the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6:9–13) and at their request (Luke 11:2–4). It serves as the timeless foundation of Christian devotion:

1–3. Petitions to the Heavenly Father

Hallowing of God's holy name, the coming of His Kingdom, and humble trust in His divine will.

4–7. Human Needs and Spiritual Protection

Daily bread, forgiveness of debts as we forgive our debtors, deliverance from temptation, and protection from the evil one.
